Doberman Pinscher Club Of America
WORKING APTITUDE EVALUATION

Saturday, June 4th, 2011 in Galt, California

Sponsored by the Doberman Pinscher Clubs of Reno, Sacramento, Northern California, and Redwood Empire

Four clubs in the Northern Nevada/Northern CA area put on a joint WAE on June 4.  The clubs were the DPCs of Reno, Sacramento, Northern California and Redwood Empire.  The event was held on Tammi Myer's ranch in the heart of Galt.  The weather did its best to be uncooperative with a cold rain and occasional winds.  But the WAE was successful in spite of the weather's poor showing.

The evaluator was Zelda Casanova from Dallas TX.  There were nineteen dogs entered with five very wet dogs passing. They were:

                                                                'Rena'ssance Sugarcane
                                                            'Rena'ssance Sugared Napoleon
                                                                  'Rena'ssance Sugarplum
Foxfire's Take'n It To The Max
                                                                 Ch. Irongate's Rum Raisin

After the WAE there was a potluck that was moved into Tammi's house instead of being held on her spacious patio... for obvious reasons!

All the entrants will be contacted this year via email to see if they would like to see any changes (other than the weather) to make this event even bigger and better next year.

Thanks to all who bucked the weather to participate.  Hope to see everyone again next year.
